hey... i have a feeling this has been covered before... but, could anyone give me opionions on the turbo kits "Hardcore Performance" sells at http://www.hardcore-performance.com/tmazda.asp are they any good? i was going to put the 8psi one on my 89 GTU w. 93k miles....

As far as I know, no one has ever bought their kit. Also, the pictures on their site are suspect, as they were pictures of another RX-7 Forum member's car.

I think that the original makers of the site may have been forum members, but it's hard to tell. Either way, their "testing" procedure looks suspect. I'd bet that they just drive around with it on their car, then sell the parts to whoever orders the kit...

LOL. u dont happen to know anyone who makes a GOOD bolt-on turbo for the n/a do you? i know that makes me sounds like a total newbie, which i am, but i figured...seeing as you are the authority on turboed n/a's... u might have a sugestion

There's no such thing. The only commercially produced kit was that by CarTech, but they have not made those for 12+ years. Sometimes you can still find old ones for sale, but they are rare.
Main reason is that there is already a turbo model of the car, so there was never much of a demand...
