Hey, i am looking to buy an led conversion kit for my accord in order to change the dash display from green to red. im looking to buy from this site: www.99accord.com where they sell kits in which an individual solders the leds for an added price to give the desired color (blue or red). another option is for me to ship him my stock led's and have him solder them red for me. my question is, i thought soldering had to do with attaching metals and whatnot. how does one change the color of a bulb with this technique? form what i hear soldering is difficult and comes with practice so i shouldnt attempt to change my stock led's red myself should i? thanks, im a noob :)

Soldering is a little bit of an art....There are instructions at http://www.aaroncake.net/electronics/solder.htm

It looks like the site just uses a different colour of LED in place of the existing one.
