hi aron and all the pepole here!
i got a qustion about a vacuum cleaner motor... because i saw your electric razor... and you wrote there that it is possible to use a vecuum motor.... to this kind of project

do you think it will be possiible? because i got an old vecuum cleaner... thats works fine...

how to use him with what bettries? i saw that car bettries aint good.. cuz i wont be able to charge it ...

any idea on which bettrey to use??

Vacuum motors will need 120V or 220V to run at full speed and power. They can run at lower voltages, but you will have to experiment and see if the motor can still produce enough torque at 12, 24, 36 or 48V. I don't recommend going any higher then that until you have experience.

The most popular type of batteries are the small AGM lead acid type batteries used in computer UPSs, emergency lighting, alarm systems, etc.

No, I have not built one. I've always been more of a Tesla Coil person.

Plans should be easy to find via Google, but if you can't, just head to the library. You'll find a good set of plans in the book "The Gadgeteer's Goldmine" by Gordan McComb.
