Unfortunately, it seems that due to a corrupted mailbox I have lost all the email sent to me from this webpage since about Nov. 2/2002. So if you have sent a message since then, don't be angry if you don't get a reply since there is nothing I can do about it.
The reason this happened is due mostly to the large amount of virus and spam email floating around these days. Many of them have malformed headers, and when my mailserver attempts to read a mailbox with a large number of messages (>2000) that have damaged headers, it chokes and ends up corrupting the whole thing.
This problem will probably not happen again, since from now on I will be downloading my mail about once a week. This should prevent the mailbox from getting too large and avoid the corruption. Note that this does NOT mean you will get a response quicker, since the message may still spend quite a lot of time in my Inbox.
