if i wherer to inject propane into the carb of my go-kart engine, would it work like nitrus oxide?

No, Nitrus Oxide is an oxydiser (hence the Oxide)
Propane is a fuel that requires O2 to burn.

could i mix the propane with air in a presurized container prior to use in the carb for a speed boost?

Nope. Propane contains less energy then gasoline. What's wrong with nitrous?

I don't know where i can get it in Geneva NY, might be expensive and too hard to obtain. alot of stuff is hard to get when you are 14.

Well, I know around here noone uses it because all we can get ahold of is medical grade. but try welding supply stores. another option would be to distill alcohol

well actually I was talking about taking the watered down stuff and boiling off the alcohol...didnt think about making it

You may not be aware, but almost all auto "speed shops" sell nitrous refills. At least, in Canada and the US they do.

An engine mixes FUEL and OXYGEN to cause an explosion to move a piston or turn a rotor. Nitrous oxide has a lot of oxygen in it, so adding nitrous oxide to your fuel increases the available oxygen and improves the force of combustion. Adding Propane or Hydrogen or anything else to your fuel will not help you, because Propane and Hydrogen do not contain OXYGEN. Adding Alcohol can help, but I forget why. You mix a little in with your fuel and it gives you a performance boost. Be careful doing this stuff, since it increases the heat in your engine. You can roast your motor if you're not careful, and possibly hurt yourself.
The simplest way to get alcohol is to boil down strong liquor, like Whisky, which is expensive. You might be able to find some moonshine somewhere. I also know of a product called AlCool. It's pure ethanol in a bottle, used to beef-up other drinks. You could probably use AlCool without having to boil it down.

They also have an engine that are ran by 99% hydrogen perixide. I think that the perixide rushes past pure silver, that makes heat and something. Do a google search on hydrogen peroxide engine. They even got pictures of gokarts fitted with those kinds of engines.

wouldn't oxygen bet the best oxydiser for obvious rewasons? i would use alcahol but i am underage and my mom woudn't buy it for me.

I big reason why nitrous works is because it also supercools the intake charge. Nitrous is a lot easier to store then oxygen because it is liquid when it is compressed.

The thing is, nitrus systems are illegal in new york (like everything else) and i can get oxygen real easy. my dad works with the hospital, and i can get oxy from a welding shop near my dads house. if i use a enhancer souch as nitrus or oxy, would it blow the cilynder head off?
