I wanted to start building a generator using a 3.5 hp briggs and sratton lawnmower engine(i know all the parts needed and can get a hold of them however..) The lawnmower engine is the same one that my friend ( " Alien " ) described and i neede to now weather or not someone knew any web address that has a repair manual in PDF format or such so that my friend and i can bring the engine back to a fuctional state. OR if anyone knows where i may find a b&S repair manual in Ontario(canada) hopefully in Ottawa or Gaineau(Quebec) Any help would be appriciated. Also one other thing im only 14 so please dont leave out small details as this is the first time ive dealt with lawnmower engine repair (except last summer ................. repairs did not go well lol)

I don't know of any online sources, but any small engine shop can get you a copy of the B&S official manual for about $25. Also, libraries usually have a number of books. I would recommend the Chilton repair manual.
