I did a write up for a member of another forum, and have posted it here in case anyone else is interested.

The .zip file contains a Word .doc file and a .gif file of symbols (no nasties!).

That's a pretty good set of instructions.

Another source of the symbols is at http://www.aaroncake.net/electronics/schem.htm , my very old schematic symbol reference. I hand drew most of those in Paint many years ago, and still use them to make the schematics for the site. Some are scans that I have cleaned up, most are totally hand drawn.

Maybe, but all I've seen come out of simulators are wiring diagrams.

Good job, but I would rather get a simulator. It's alot easier.
