Thought this technology was kind of cool. This is the answer that will end the fight between blue Ray and HDDVD! YAY!

It can hold 3TB of info!!

I feel about the same about DVD. I've seen some HD played beside normal and the problem is the store people used crapy cable and the HD sucked. I have seen HD on properly connected systems though and there is a bit of calrity difference but I'm sticking with my DVD player now that I have collected quite a few DVDs there is no point in buying them all over again in HD when I DVD is fine with me. Some of the new HD formats are suppos to support 10.1 and up to 13.1 something audio channels... that is dumb in that case you have more speaker then you have room. DUMB. I just thought the holographic thing was kinda neat.

Or it will start a new fight between Sony's version of HVD and everyone else's.

It took me years to get a DVD player, and I have no interest in HD anything. Last time I looked at an HD TV displaying HD content, I couldn't tell the difference between it and standard definition.
