Just a few minutes ago I was in Counterparts, my local electronics store. I was picking up a 9 pin female to femal serial cable when I noticed some people picking out some components holding a familiar looking piece of paper. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a printout of the 6 To 12V Converter from this website. Apparently they were building it as part of their automotive course at Fanshawe, a local college. I gave them a few pointers on how to assemble and troubleshoot the circuit, paid for the cable, and left.

Kind of funny, actually.
