at full throttle you cant hear the horn so i want to get some air horns and run them off a 12 volt gel cell battery
much safer than the stock horn
im looking at these http://www.autobarn.net/rodi/hp3-0127.html
and some on ebay
just wondering
how do these things work?

Instead of fooling around with an air compressor, why not go to a junkyard and pull the horns off a dead Cadillac? Just hook 'em up to 12 volts and away you go.

Posted - Nov 24 2004 : 09:13:26 AM I have air horns on my RX-7. They work well, but are not quite as loud as I expected.
Could be a pain trying to fit them on a moped though. Not much space.
