the horn on my and any moped is like no horn at all

at full throttle you cant hear the horn so i want to get some air horns and run them off a 12 volt gel cell battery

much safer than the stock horn

im looking at these
http://www.autobarn.net/rodi/hp3-0127.html

and some on ebay

just wondering

how do these things work?

Instead of fooling around with an air compressor, why not go to a junkyard and pull the horns off a dead Cadillac? Just hook 'em up to 12 volts and away you go.

I have air horns on my RX-7. They work well, but are not quite as loud as I expected.

Could be a pain trying to fit them on a moped though. Not much space.

The current horn switch activates a relay which gives power to the small compressor which gives air to the two trumpets and makes noise.
