why don't more people get an ipod from this website then?

The free iPod thing is actually legit. The Screensavers did a big story on it, and had the founder on the air.

the Ipod plays any mp3 files (some other formats to) I have no problem with songs that I have gotten off the internet on it.
I also use musicmatch Jukebox instead of itunes

DRM = Digital Rights Management. Basically a way for the music provider to limit your use of the files you download. To me, they become completely useless if I can't copy/burn/etc. them. So normally I pay for the file on a pay service, download it, then delete it and download the equivelant from a file sharing service in MP3 format. That way I stay legal, but don't have restricions on the music...

Nothing against Apple. I just don't want to be tied to one service for my music.

Principle.

I got one thing to say, "Out go the bulky CD players, and in come the compact MP3's."

Nearly all the kids in my class have an MP3 player. One kid asked another kid in my class "how much can your MP3 player hold?" he said it held 60GB. WOW, and the player was only about palm size. Well I suppose 60GB is'nt that wowish, since laptops have HDD about the same size that can hold more data.

I can disqualify the blonde because I enjoyed Pepsi before she was born.

I'd love an IPod, if it didn't include any DRM nor tie me to the Apple store.

Also I don't drink Pepsi (because of those stupid Britney Spears commercials).
