I have found out that most Pro looking websites dont use frames, but if you dont use frames, every time you add a new botton to your menu, you will have to edit the menu on every site on your website. But using frames will be better. I also note that most Pro websites use Text or picture text. but i would use regular text. Unless you want the botton to highlight or animate when the mouse cursor is placed over it, like the menu on Aaron's Home Page. If you want it like that, its best that you use a image editor. you can use java to make your website look more dynamic.

heres a website template that i made, not using one picture. It seems that the yahoo server is having problems with the menu.

I put this site together in one day. Also, i forgot to place a diffrent header, lol. Ahh, an Ad free website.

It only happens if I hit a "404 Not Found" page.

Scroll bars? All I saw was an under construction page...

However, my popup blocker stopped like 5 popups...Might want to look into a different host.

well, as soon as i can set up my own webserver in my home, the banners stay. As for using a WYSIWYG HTML editor, those things bore the hell out of me. I tried it that way, but never finished.

Yea, but you can close the "pop-up". And it can be avoided if you use a Pop-Up Blocker (like the google search bar). And even tho geocities have 15 MB, thats still a number or pictures and maybe 2 or 3 animations. But i dont place many pictures on my website, but i like to have ad free webpages. Oh, i used FrontPage Express, because i used a template on my website. And the best way to edit templates is WYSIWYG Editors. But, i do know HTML.

P.S.

I like TopCities because I do not like Geocities' banner on the side. Plus, TopCities gives me 150 megs of space free.

if you go to www.javascripts.com you can find numerous scripts that can change your scroll bars. My favorite editor is underconstruction 98. It has a long trial time, and has alot of features.

It looks great. To make it look better, use Geocities, as they dont have that big annoying banner at the top of every website.
www.geocities.com/flafhq/ a website i made using First Page 2000, and a WYSIWYG Editor. Oh excuse the header, as i forgot to put one!
