How come I was a MEMBER for a while and RECENTLY an apprentice??

Yes, but what does it matter? As the level increases, the number of posts required to hit that level increase in a non-linear fashion. ie. It might take 10 posts to get to member, but 1000 posts to get to Nobel Prize Winner.

The title changes as your post count increases. New Member -> Member -> Apprentice -> Mad Scientist -> Nobel Prize Winner.
