My TV was taking 10-15 minutes to turn on, it turned on and off repeatedly until it "warmed-up". To avoid the hassle i kept the TV on at all times. Then yesterday I accidentally turned it off and i haven't been able to turn it on since. When its plugged in it makes a high pitched sound. I opened it up but couldn't find anything obviously wrong with it, i did however find that the sound was coming from around the power supply. I have included a few pictures and a video, just follow the link below.

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Here is the link with the pics and the video

Follow the Horizontal trail as in HV. That high pitch squeal is usually a leak somewhere. Look for arcing.

Hey Guru, thanks for taking the time to reply! I guess I'll just look there. I've been reading a book and the guy said to get a few service manuals so that I have them and he said if I can get them for free then all the better.

Thanks again

I keyed the model nimber of my Sony TV into Google. Many links wanted me to buy a service manual but I found a few for free. Google also linked to guys talking about the same TV and the same problem as mine.

Don't you have a camera that takes clear pics?
Tou don't troubleshoot a TV from pics. You take voltage and signal measurements and compare them with the measurements in the service manual.
