Problem is when I turn it on the numbers on the display jump arounde a lot usaly the last 2 numbers showing 0.25V or around that it constantly changes just wondering if any one knows if this is normal it still measures voltage but the reading moves around alot. I tryed doing the 0 calabration thing but it will never hit 0.
Any Ideas?

Try touching both the ends of it to your body, it will go crazy sometimes.. This is just because it even reads small current flow...

Posted - Apr 15 2007 : 02:04:42 AM It sounds normal to me. I have a bunch of digital meters and they all jump around. The fact that the meter reads a voltage difference of .02V is a really small amount. I find the better quality the meter is the more sensitive it is and the more it jumps around a bit. Also if you’re measuring a voltage source there are many variants so .25V fluctuation is normal. As long as it is not jumping up by 10V here and there and everywhere I'd say you’re ok.
