Hi there, I am endeavoring to assemble the 40w fluoro inverter I understand the basics of the circuit and feel capable in assembling it, I just can't get my head around the winding of the secondary coils of the transformer, particularly the direction of the winding from layer to layer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wind just like you said, ie. Left to right, then right to left, then left to right - all layers in the same (clockwise) direction.

I appreciate your patience Juan, those are the primary and feedback coils, it is the winding of the three layers of secondary coil that I need help with. How do I configure the end of one layer and the start of the next. For example, if winding clockwise from left to right, once I reach the end and insulate the coil do I just wind clockwise from right to left the next layer of the secondary or ... ? Thank you

Hello... as far as I know you must wind the primary and the secondary winding the same direction.

Please take a look at this:

Is there a specific part of the instructions you are having trouble with? There is a little diagram that explains it however there is one slight difference between the notes and the schematic in that "Feedback" in the notes is "L1" in the schematic.
