Posted - Dec 22 2009 : 9:26:24 PM You mentioned that by adding a low pass filter to the input it would make a good sub woofer. I am thinking of using this amp for a Bass guitar. What value, if any, would you suggest? Would you advise that I build this into a separate 'box', or could I build my amp with a second input with the low pass filter included? That way I could use the amp for other things if necessary.
Tks fror listening.

Posted - Dec 23 2009 : 5:00:43 PM Why build an amp that uses an obsolete driver IC, horrible-sounding old 741 opamps and old 2N3055 transistors?? Make a modern high quality amp circuit with a sub-woofer lowpass filter that can be switched in and out.
