Can anyone tell me where I can purchase this elusive little item? (106 SCR)

Or better yet the entire project.

Thanks

You can get this at any electronics store. There are many versions of the 106, so you want the B or C (probably others are suitable). The same shop should have access to strobe trigger transformers. If not, then Electronics Goldmine carries both.

Even Radio Shack carried both these parts (at a whicked markup) at least a year ago.

Also while you're here, how about the "trigger Trannsformer" where can I get that?

Thanks
