hi, looking for suggestions on how to design an electronic scoreboard that will be used for taekwondo,cos i'm flying in the dark here.three switches will be held by three referees.each switch has 3 buttons for each corner(blue and red),representing 1 point,2 point and 3 point.ONLY when at least 2 referees push the same button for a corner(within 2 seconds) can the point be added and displayed on the seven segment display. been trying to look for a circuit diagram ....how do i go about it...thnx

This could be done with discrete logic but perhaps it is best to use this project as your introduction to microcontrollers. Grab an educational PIC programming kit and go to town.
