I am a beginner.I am now working on a 7 segment LED project where I have to interconnect 64 digits(including time display) of LEDs to a microcontroller.I want to know the schematic diagram and hardware logic that needs to send signals to all these LEDs periodically and sequentially using the microcomtroller.I want to know what are all the components that could be used in it which are having low cost and high quality.

How come I never needed to ask questions like this? Sounds like school homework to me, and it sounds like you practically want someone to do it all for you. Seriously if you are enthusiastic you should figure this one out on your own. It's the best way to learn.
