Posted - Jan 22 2017 : 03:55:36 AM Which fuse should we use with a 400w amplifier.? It uses a step-down transformer with 27-0-27 10A, 12-0-12 1A and 18-0-18 1A secondary AC main is 230V. Fuse need to be placed before transformer. So power switch, transformer and fuse will be in series.

Posted - Jan 25 2017 : 08:56:35 AM Thank you. My power supply uses 14700uf electrolytic caps on each rail of 27.0.27 supply, (( 10000+ 4700)*2), 4700uf each on 18-0-18 1A part and another 4700uf on 12V 1a part. How will be the inrush current?
