Can anyone tell me how to charge a standard AGM sealed lead-acid battery by using the cigarette lighter port in a car?

I drive around for my business and carry/use electric scooters at multipule locations. The scooters don't have enough charge capacity to finish the jobs. I need to keep them charged during the days' use.

I have tried to use the standard home charger for the scooter (running on an inverter) on the lighters' 12v connection, but have found that method to be problematic, for several reasons.

So, is it possible to use the car's alternator/battery system to keep the scooter batteries charged during transport?

Thanks for any help with this issue.

I'm pretty sure your going to need to get a generator dude....you cant charge a battery off a battery that are pretty much the same size....well the scooter one is probably at bit smaller but why not just get a generator?
