Hi, I hope someone can help please. I want a power supply circuit to convert 14v dc (car cigarette lighter plug) to 14v ac. I did manage to construct a very Heath Robinson-ish affair using coils of copper wire, nails and bi-metallic strip, but really want something a bit more sightly. (Smaller would also be an advantage). Need about 7amps absolute max. Thanx

Take a look at the long inverter topic in the Power Supply section. There are a number of oscillator circuits in that topic to choose from.
