hi there
i need help on my new project its called
"smart anti-theft car alarm system with remote notification"
something like using an IR system to transmit a break in or by using RF.
could someone pls help me in how to solve this problem
pls do reply

First of all, there was no need to post this same topic to 3 different forums. I have deleted the others and move this one to the proper area.

IR is unsuitable for this project since it is line of sight.

If you are intending this to be a useful and practical device, then it is better to just purchase one. Alarm systems like this are now easily available for under $50 on eBay. It will be nearly impossible to replicate the tiny keychain remote for most home builders.

If this is a learning exercise, then I would start with two premade RF modules. A Google search should turn up many manufacturers. These modules accept serial data which can come from a microcontroller. The heart of the system is of course the microcontroller which will coordinate all the functions. Now it just becomes a software exercise.
