Just bought a 1984 Buick Riviera from a friends neighbor. I replaced the stock radio with an aftermarket Clarion unit. The problem though, is that the antenna switch in the unit fried due to a crossed wire from the prior owner. I need to wire up a switch now to operate the antenna and need to know if its typically just a +12volt to the antenna to make it go up and no power to it to make it go down.

Some weird cars (like the RX-7) switch the ground instead.
