when doing the DRL switch, can I run the fog lights off the same switch?

Also, I was replacing the bulbs earlier. after I got the second one in, both of them cut out. do you think it is in the switch? do you think I can run a wire from my headlights to my foglights?

Depends on the car and how the headlight circuit is switched. If you want to use the same switch, I suggest using a DPST switch to isolate the two circuits.

If the headlights cut out, look for corroded bulb contacts. You should be able to put the foglights in parallel with the headlights.
