I got a hold of some parts for my RX-7, this includes turbonetics TO4S w/HKS wastegate and GReddy exhaust manifold, Trust front mount intercooler w/piping and Greddy BOV. I want to install it in my N/A 89 RX-7, what problems should I be aware of before I attempt to do my install? what can I boost up to? would I have to remove my ACV or get a 2.5" spacer? any tips?
thanks

I ran stock timing and had no issues. But once you get into higher boost levels, you will need timing control past just moving the CAS back a few degrees.

Just going through your site, Its one of the better sites Ive found for info on turbo charging an NA13b. I just came from Japan and live in Alaska and want to get the parts I have installed. I think for the most part I will be referenceing your site for info. I have plenty of time and have a garage to work out of. One more question, did you have to change the timing?
thanks!!

Problems: Inadequate fuel system, clearance between turbo and lower intake, intercooler piping won't fit, and all the other little things associated with this project.

You will likely have to space the manifold out some. I don't know how much, you will have to measure. And yes, you will need to loose the ACV.

If you have to ask what boost level you can run, you shouldn't be doing this project.
