If staying in step with your process, but using a s5 turbo work just the same? It is a s4 car.

The S4 turbo will not bolt to the S5 manifold and vice versa. The turbo needs to match the manifold...

Sounds like you are asking very basic questions, so I cannot recommend you continue this this project.
