the rx 7 in the fast the furious is cool and if any one reads super street they had some phat ones(www.superstreetonline.com) to veiw all the ones they have

I think the body kit in Tokyo Drift (keeping in mind I have not seen the movie) is a "Fortune" kit. There is a semi-local owner who is building a car with the same kit and has a ridiculous amount of money into it. Personally I hate nearly every body kit and can't see why someone would piss away so much money to make their car uglier. |

Yes, I have heard of drifting. About 16 years ago in fact. Thought it was dumb then, think it's dumb now...Of course, ricers have nothing to do with drifting since I fail to see how you can drift a front wheel drive car.

I can't say off hand that I have ever met any of them, so I have no judgement of whether they are "cool" or not. I can say with conviction that 90% of what they publish is crap. I mean, you can tell what kind of magazine it is by looking at the advertisements. Companies selling Altezza lights and Honda parts...

This kid i was talking to says his car is fast and has over $700 in speeding/racing tickets. Yeah, whatever. His brother takes me home a bit later in his civic wagon. (Maybe it is my personal love for newer wagons) I like the look of it, nice paint, stock looking. Yet i still have to make fun of him for having a ricer. Shifts into third at 50 and takes off. Thing is pretty fast actually. Handles like shit and is hard to steer though (took out the power steering. I still make fun of him and his brother, but tend to less because he gave me a ride home. 5 miles in the dark on a bike sucks. I hate the way they made that RX in the fast and furious. But the body kit in Tokyo drift was just fucking cool looking. Also, i liked that Honda wagon because it was RWD. |

As for the RX-7s in TFTF, they were raped. Dumb looking body kits that do nothing for aerodynamics, stupid wings, and plastered with stickers. The magazines you mentioned read like they were written by three year olds, and show very little actual knowledge of anything automotive past how to stick on wings fat exhaust tips.

Nothing wrong with modding your car, but when you get an attitude with your car, but you car cannot justify it, people get angry.
Most people who mod thir "economy" cars, thy only improove things marganally preformance wise, but mostly do things to the exterior, yet they boast about the preformance of their car. It is mostly a vessel for attracting the opposite sex.
Aaron hates body kits.

Those cars are what we would call "Rice." It is a term for cars and people who buy economy cars and try and make them better with simple mods like turbos, highflow exauhst, and other things. Th members of this forum don't like Ricers. The moderator, (Aaron Cake) is especialy hostile twards Ricers.
