I am working on a device which must have a dc motor run for 30-45 seconds ~every 24 hours.It must run from a small 9V batery.can you help?

WARNING I HAVE NEVER TRIED THIS AND DONT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK!!!!
You can try hooking up an alarm clock a cheap alarm clock simply replace the alarms speaker with a hook up to a transistor so when it rings it will send a little current into the transistor allowing the nine volt battery through and presto oh yah make sure the alarm rings for the time you want and that it rings once and only once with out you having to touch it good luck

This sounds impossible at first read. However, give some specs on the motor and then the realistic calculations can be made.
