howdy I mad a rocket rifle out of PVC pipe and a home mad rocket damn it was cool it want about 500 feet and pirate much strata I used a model rocket engine from the store it was assume but it hit the nabbers house but a hole in it thank god no one was home ;) I used an explosive to propel it out the barrel it worked good but dont make the explosive to big or you wonte have any hands if you want to have some fun you should try it be safe

That's pretty cool, my friend is doing something like that, he launches rocket engines just like normal spuds. Put a bit of gasoline on the fuse and the combustion will ignites it. The engines are wrapped in tape to give a tight seal on the barrel. It's nice how you see it glide silently through the air, then all of a sudden it takes off! It's nice at night too.

il havta try that somtime, but no xplosivs, just the rocket with a charge at the tip.
an opn barrel, and an igniter arm that can fit into the igniter hole and spark.
