Hi > I need help on how to connect the output of a 555 timer to the gate of a SCR.
Is it necessary to used a resistor in series|..
The operating voltage is 12 V and the Scr is switching a very low load, 50 ma.
Also, if the gate wire is very long from the 555 timer, is it necessary to use a low value Cap. to avoid interference false triggering..
Thanks for any help
Mario
