Posted - Jun 03 2003 : 5:10:14 PM one suggestion would be to get a two channel RC circuit and use two servos to do this.
My first question is, Is this for a school project? I ask this because the easyest way for you to do this is to go to a hobby shop and buy a used boat or car or plane (an RC plane would have more channels like 8) you can find torn up old RC boats for $35-$50. All that it needs is two servos (X and Y axis). This would be the best way to do it for the money and time.
However, If you need to build the circuit try looking here http://www.rlocman.com.ru/en/index.htm Basicall your going to encode the postion of 2 potentiameters and send it (RF or IR) receve the signal, decode it, and then position the x and y axis to match those of the Pot's.
