i was trying to rebuit a captan for an old Cook 2216 data recorder the "rubber" is yellowish a green tire ? meaning no carbon was added yet..just guessing though.. can any body help me guess it..ill try silicon rubber as a replacement but how to apply it is another problem i don't have a lathe machine..datas are inputed at a spin stop manner each jerk is 25.5 inch per second.
