Posted - Mar 07 2014 : 11:21:50 AM Twas one of the first suspensions I looked into. However because it is a double A-arm, there are some significant fitment problems to the front of the Cosmo. It would require hacking the entire lower half out of the strut towers. Plus, the front mounted steering rack interferes with the engine mount crossmember which can't really be relocated due to the position of the accessories.
I'll be at AutoRama tomorrow and will be paying close attention to possible suspension options. But for now it's looking like I will be using the 2nd gen RX-7 front suspension, heavily modified with the steering rack move to the back of the subframe.
