take a 2' peice of 4" pvc pipe, an endcap for it, a 1 foot, 2' peice of 2" pvc pipe and a toilet plunger. cut a 2" hole in the endcap for the 2" pipe to go through, put the pipe in the hole so that 2" are exposed. glue it in place. then remove the handle of the plunger. place it on the other side and attach it with a screw through the rubber thingy. put the new plunger arrangement in the 4" pipe so that the plunger seals the inner pipe from the outer chamber, an the plunger should seal up the large chamber so it can be pressurized. glue it in place. in this arrangement the outer chamber is pressurized. when you pull the handle of the plunger, the air in the outer chamber rushes into the inner chamber or barrel. no expensive ball valves and really easy to make. lots of room for improovement. like a solenoid to pull the plunger out ect.

ya the co2 would work good for a pneumatic gun I am sick and tired of using hairsprayso i think I am going to uses a propane oxygen mix like maybe 4 SEC of each I have mad up a circuit it is that 0 to 20 secant timer it works good I am going to uses it to hold an electric vulvae open for 4 SEC I think this will work but I just had this idea so I will have to giv it more thought

yea, combustion is alot of fun, but from and efficency point of view, pneumatics don't have to worry about fuel mixture, gumming up the camber or blowing up opon ignition. that is why i plan to use it on my motorized spudgun and just use the combustion attaachment for shows. not for use.

hmmm... flanging the barrel egh, woudn't that make loading harder? you an't use the barrel end to cut the spud.

Granted the pneumatics may have the power, but combustion has definantly got the fun.
the gun im building now I tapered the end of the barrel like those elephant guns in cartoons. It makes an unusuall sound. plus fireing a combustion gun at nite is the best

pneumatic is slightly safer and more poerfull then aqua-net. dunno about vodka tho. to the thesting grounds!!!!

it looks like it might work but it would be easy to just uses a bike tire pump to fill the chamber up and a lot less work but I like combustion guns it is more fun to be firing something that you can see the fire come out

i just bought a plunger and it turns out to be 6 inches in diameter. you will have to cut the plunger down. here is a new diagram. it should work better. the air is pumped in behind the plunger where it passes past the one way check valve into the main chamber. the solenoid valve is opened, closing the check valve and then the high pressure pusheds the plunger away opening the barrel. tada! http://www.geocities.com/cajunjoe_here/
