does any one have any ideas for a slug that doesn't operate on pneumatics?

i found this site but its for .175 cal pellets (and its probaly very weak) and i wanna shoot .22 cal pellets. Well any help would be appreciated

Just make shure that when you plug your CO2 bottle into the regulator that the regulator is turned way down. These bottles are under extremely high pressure, enough to keep the CO2 liquid (not shure how many psi). Obviously a rupture of the pipe would hurt

Thats true...but in the US they probably wouldnt keep up with it...However you are required to have a licence to carry a gun with you but not to own one besides it would be hard to get everyone who ownes a gun to get a licence.

Actually, licensing firearms is a very good thing. We have very few shootings around here since guns are not so easily available...Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time someone was shot in London (a city of 320,000 people).

Well if it is the paint ball type, then it is just a metal cylinder with a screw connection (basically it is just like the small propaine tanks for portable stoves).
I have seen this done (not for a slug though) basically it was a paint ball CO2 tank connected to a paintball regulator (to bring down the pressure). The cannon itself was a rear chamber for gas expansion and holding at the lower pressure then was an automatic sprinkler valve, then to the barrel.
However, I have also head some pretty bad stories about sprinkler valves exploding due to too much pressure. so be shure that you keep you regulator turned down low. depending on what you plan to do with this, you might want to use metal and a high pressure valve.

well i ive heard and seen alot of bad thing about cumbustion cannons. And i live in canada so you need permits and lisences to buy a gun and i dont have the time nor patience for that. any way i was thinking on useing a co2 canister but i dont know how they work so if any 1 knows how a co2 canister works please tell me

could you not just use a smaller barrel on a combustion potato gun. You would also use a smaller combustion chamber.
If you really want to shoot slugs, I suggest buying a shot gun and buying slugs instead of shot (of course this requires a different barrel, but its pretty easy conversion) They really do have a nice kick to them. Perfect for possums and armadillos
