hey guys,
I put my mini spud launcher together. my parents took my xbox so I got bored. Its just over 5 inches and fire a spitball a good 10-20 feet. After I created it I made another version that was about 3 inches. for some reason I cant get WD-40 to work, and I know that you have to get a certain mixture of fuel and oxygen. So i have been using AXE Body spray for good results, and now im using empty spray paint cans with good results. Does anybody know a flammable powder that can be found around the house?

PS: Aaron what is with the AD's your getting paid to put them on your website?

There's a Lounge topic that covers the ads.

As for a flammable powder, nothing that I can think of off hand. Powders tend not to work very well in spudguns anyway. If you are comfortable and know the proper safety precautions, gunpowder is easily made.

WD-40 may no longer be flammable. I heard something about them changing the propellant from butane to something else. It's also very hard to get the right mixture since WD-40 is so heavy.
