Posted - Aug 08 2011 : 11:16:05 AM how about a digital-to-analogue converter? I think it will work. .
I have tested it with my old fashioned TV. I used it to connect the video output of my dvd player directly to input antenna conn of my old fashioned tv. (it doesnt have a built in digital-to-analogue converter inside)
I got my converter from an old "nintendo family computer" Lol! It has a digital-to-analogue converter inside. I just made a simple enclosure from an old plastic crayon box and with a simple power supply from an old adapter. Its really an old fashion thing yet its effective.

Posted - Aug 08 2011 : 10:04:44 AM It's not just a simple adapter, if that's what you're thinking. Almost all laptops in made in the last century have at least an SVideo output. Or a more modern laptop will have a DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort connection which most modern TVs accept. Most modern TVs (Plasma and LCD) also accept VGA directly.
If you really need to convert VGA to something like composite for a very old setup, you can find used converters on eBay for the cost of shipping. |
