Iam in need of a circuit in which when a light beam is cut adoor opens and when the light beam is cut it closes

Anyway thanks wassup I designed one just using two transistors two ldrs two resistors and two motors .It works off 3v.But it is quite basic

And this is what i want to say to genesis if you want a reply make a new thread

Hi, in need of an FM transceiver for 3Khz, I have a circuit but i need the one with relevant formulas to calculate required values for components. Thanks

Sorry dude I don't have the time, look at my occupation\studies. I only have the time to make suggestions. Maybe someone else here can help you. If you have no luck here go to a bigger electronics forum.

Good luck... Dude.

Dude i know it is possible with microcontrollers but I was looking for something simpler. What about a circuit that spins a motor in one direction to open a door when gets a pulse when the light beam is cut and when the light beam is cut again the motor spins the other way.I already have a simple circuit to give a positive pulse when the light beam is cut.So could you help me design one please!.Iam just a 13 year old.I know to design simple circuits with transistors but when it comes to ic's I suck

Note:never take a laxative and sleeping pills together its effect can be drastic

Sure you could go for a more simpler circuit. I don't have a mound of schematics that are indexed and at arm's length so I can't exactly justify the effort to find a more simpler schematic for you. Try looking harder on google. If it were me I wouldn't even bother looking up a schematic, I'd just design it myself.

When you say:
"when a light beam is cut adoor opens and when the light beam is cut it closes"

In my opinion that is way over simplified. I would use a micro controller that has several trimmable timers and a few more sensors in critical places to avoid injury, otherwise the door might close on someone. What happens if the door gets jammed on something? The motor would stall and possibly heat up to the point that it catches on fire. There is no real "simple circuit" for something like this. There are so many questions, a designer must answer for all of them. There MUST be fail safes.

Dude I know that circuit. I was looking for something quite more simpler.what about using a bistable.

Usually I don't just give people the answer but I'll be nice this time.
