Can someone supply me with a small easy ckt? or device to convert a 9 volt battery to 12 volts DC. I use the 9V battery to supply a DCC decoder in a model train and 12 volts would be better than the 9. I am new here and hope this is not a dumb or redundant question !!

There are also simple DC-DC converter modules around with 12V outputs that accept a wide variety of input voltages.
