Posted - Feb 25 2010 : 08:16:44 AM Hi there, I read a the notes on how to create 12v to 120v inverter, there is a point which says Q1 and Q2, as well as T1, determine how much wattage the inverter can supply, I could not understand how to calculate the final power the inverter by using this electronic transistors as well as the transformer it self. If any one know how to calculate the final power of the inverter by using this transistors, please help me on that.

This inverter produces only about 25W to 35W at a low voltage. The transistors and transformer have nothing to do with its low output power and low output voltage. A real inverter uses many more parts and does not blow up its capacitors. |
