I'm looking at making a 500 Mhz square wave oscillator for a project of mine. Does anyone know of any simple designs for this? Thanks in advance.

That is nearly a microwave frequency. Do you know how to make a circuit that works at such a high frequency?
Will you be able to measure harmonics at 1GHz, 1.5GHz, 2GHz and much higher?
