I would really like to get my 3 led flasher working but I am missing some thing (Brains, aptitude, skill, knowledge?)

If anyone has a solution for the following could they post it?

3 Led's. 2 Sequences.

The first sequence is led 1on, led1 off, led2 on, led 2 off, led3 on, led 3 off.

Then change to sequence 2, which is led 1on, led1 off, led2 on, led 2 off, led3 on, led 3 off and return back to sequence 1.

Sequence one is on for 1/3 second and off for 1/3 second. Sequence 2 is on for 1 second and off for one second.

For those old enough it is just the SOS ( dot, dot, dot, dash, dash, dash, dot, dot, dot, dash, dash, dash.....) pattern.

A simple on off switch and a nine volt battery completes it. I have tried to get away with 2 transistors but I loose the timing. The timing is not critical and can decay with power loss from the battery, but it needs to a 1:3 ratio between sequence 1 and 2.

If anyone has a circuit diagram or can whip one up then great electronic Karma will come your way if you can post it.

Thanks

Geoff
