Not particularly special in itself, except for the fact that I can't imagine it is a coincidence that the throttle on my car stuck wide open on the way to work today.
I accelerated from an intersection with the pedal to the floor, lifted to shift and realized the car kept speeding up. Hit the clutch, killed the engine then coasted over to the side of the road. Strangely, everything was fine under the hood. No tangled cable, no missing spring, nothing. Started it back up and drove the rest of the way to work without incident...
