Which fuse should we use with a 400w amplifier.? It uses a step-down transformer with 27-0-27 10A, 12-0-12 1A and 18-0-18 1A secondary AC main is 230V. Fuse need to be placed before transformer. So power switch, transformer and fuse will be in series.

Thank you. My power supply uses 14700uf electrolytic caps on each rail of 27.0.27 supply, (( 10000+ 4700)*2), 4700uf each on 18-0-18 1A part and another 4700uf on 12V 1a part. How will be the inrush current?

400W / 230V is 1.73A. So a 2A fuse should do the trick as long as startup inrush current isn't large.
